Monday, September 24
It was a quiet day with just the three younger girls today. We had a blast with dress-ups!
MM: "Wow, LS, you look fabulous!"
LS: "We are big girls, ok, MM?"
My family and I spent lots of time exploring in the woods this weekend...we were getting ready for bow season. My husband and son are avid deer hunters. We were looking for deer sign and they (Brian and Jacob) are busy planning where they will hunt. We found tons of acorns and I brought them into our classroom yesterday. It was just an introduction and we will spend more time with them...

Our Apple Picking Field Trip!
Upon arrival this morning, we all made our own Apple Trees to get us ready for our field trip to Douglas Orchards for apple picking.
ML concentrates and works hard to squeeze out just the right amount of glue.
An put the apple in just the right place!
LC is our expert at gluing and all things project related--she is almost 5 after all! She is such a big help to me and to her younger preschool friends!
ML's finished apple tree!
And here they are--the field trip pictures! We had such a wonderful trip to the orchard...the weather was just perfect and the girls were absolute gems! We drew lots of attention--they behaved beautifully and were clearly having soooo much fun!
We enjoyed a picnic snack of fresh cider donuts and cider (we ate apples while we were picking).
Posing in the sign...
Pumpkins!
We also took time to sing songs!
It was a very special day--Thank you all so much for sharing these amazing children with me!!!
